NACEE Future Leaders Program

The Nebraska Alliance for Conservation and Environmental Education (NACEE) has started a new program focused on supporting diverse future leaders of environmental education in Nebraska.

 

The goal of the NACEE Future Leaders Program is to provide support to students who hold an identity or identities of historically underrepresented groups in the field of environmental education or a related field. If selected for this program, participants will receive a $250 scholarship and an annual (1 year) NACEE membership. Participants will also commit to taking part in a minimum of (2) mentor/mentee chats with a NACEE Board member over the course of the semester

 

Selected applicants must be able to show proof of enrollment in post- high school classes (community college, undergraduate, graduate, etc.) in environmental education or related field. Enrollment must be in a Nebraska placed program. Exception if the student lives in Nebraska, but is enrolled in virtual courses from an out of state program.
