NACEE Future Leaders Program

If you're a student passionate about environmental education, this opportunity is for you!

The Nebraska Alliance for Conservation and Environmental Education (NACEE) is seeking applicants for a scholarship program focused on supporting diverse future leaders of environmental education in Nebraska. The goal of the NACEE Future Leaders Program (FLP) is to provide support to students in the field of environmental education or a related field.

This year, NACEE is stepping away from our previous FLP model to dedicate the funding to allowing more students to attend the Nebraska Environmental Education Conference in February 2026. These student scholarships will include registration, a one-year NACEE membership, special sessions at the conference, and support with lodging if needed.

Selected applicants must be able to show proof of enrollment in post-high school classes (community college, undergraduate, graduate, etc.) in environmental education or related fields. Enrollment must be in a Nebraska placed program. Exception if the student lives in Nebraska, but is enrolled in virtual courses from an out of state institution.

To learn more about the conference and to apply for this program, please visit our 2026 conference information page.
